How were the shipping costs determined?
We didn’t want to make it too complicated, so we made a rough evaluation of the cost of logistics, pick & pack and expedition. Since Nobi Nobi is not a huge game with huge volume and bulk differences depending on what you order, we thought it would be better to just make one price for everyone. Each territory having their own regulations about VAT, this will be charged depending on where the games are expedited. However please do note that for pledges in the U.S.A., the E.U. or the U.K. the goods will be expedited from within your area and you will not run the risk of paying additional customs clearance fees.

How will the games be transported ?
All the products will be manufactured and assembled in China. Then, everything will be put in 3 containers : one that will be shipped to the US, the other to E.U. and the third to UK. There is a possibility that some for the Asia-Pacific region will be expedited directly from there. Once the boats arrive, 1-4 month later, the shipments will go through the customs. Then they will go to warehouses that will expedite everything in the local areas. These packs will be handled by courrier. They will only be determined with precision at the time the merchandise leaves China, to make sure we get the best pricing and the best shipping conditions.
In the EU, it will be really similar. However, due to the particular nature of the European market, once the containers have arrived, the packs will probably not be sent by courrier but by national post services.
For the rest of the word, we will have to ship them either from Europe or from USA through courrier, depending on the nearest geographical area and the cost. In any case, all will be dealt with through mail that requires signatures. Once the packs have been shipped, we will communicate to each pledger the tracing number of the pack so as to avoid any issues.
Why are there no freight charges for the USA ? Given the nature of the Kickstarter interface, it is not possible to charge extra freight cost for the USA. The way to do that is to charge freight cost at a later time, during the pledge management. However, we have decided not to do this, as we wanted to simplify the process and be very transparent about the cost our backers (you !) are paying from the start.
Why are the freight charges higher for the EU and are they not included in the price ? Please note that there is a fundamental difference between a price as it is given in the USA and a price as it is given in the EU. In America, the price of any item sold always appears with VAT excluded. In the EU, the price of any item sold is always with the VAT included. The average level of VAT in the EU being around 20%, that means that 20% of what you actually pay goes to the state, and that if we printed the same price for Europe and the USA, it would actually appear 20% higher in EU. That will actually be the case at the retail level as it is already for every boardgame sold on these territories. As such, our additional shipping costs not only include the actual expedition cost, but also a 20% sales tax. You can calculate easily that the freight cost we are asking is less than 20% of the total pledge level, hence the fact that we are actually selling the European games for a lower price than the American games when we have paid the VAT.

What languages will the games be available in at the end of the campaign?
This kickstarter is only about the English version of the game. However, Nobi Nobi will come out in French pretty soon after this campaign. If you are interested by that version, you can find it on the www.dontpanicgames.fr. There are also already existing Japanese and Italian versions of the game.

How many games are in the collector box set ?
Initially, the box set contains 3 boxes : Nobi Nobi SWORD, MAGIC and HORROR. However, if the appropriate stretch goal is reached, then it will also contain Nobi Nobi THRILLER. The box will be dimensioned to the appropriate size to contain the final number of boxes.

Are there any Kickstarter exclusives in the campaign ?
We would like as many people as possible to share all the content, so we have taken the decision to put everything that is unlocked during the campaign in the final boxes: even the new characters and scenes that may appear with the “Enter the legend” pledge. However, the signature card which is featured in the “Signature Edition” and “Enter the Legend” pledges are exclusive to this campaign.

What is BackerKit?

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
